    Principal’s News September – September 2018

Just a little over a week of school and we have already been learning so much. Routines are taking place. Relationships are being established. We even had our first fire drill. Back-to-School Night was a great success. If you were unable to attend, please contact your student’s teacher for any pertinent information you may need.

Fall is a favorite time of year. The leaves change colors. The mornings are a little cooler. You can purchase pumpkin everything!!! Also, school is in full swing. We want to thank you for your continued support and dedication to Granite Elementary.

This year we are going to explore the importance of…

    The Power of YET.

    I can’t do this…yet

    This doesn’t work…yet

    I don’t know…yet

    It doesn’t make sense…yet

    I don’t get it…yet

    I’m not good at this…yet

For this month’s challenge, try to use The Power of Yet at home when faced with a trial or difficult task. This will help to build GRIT and perseverance in our Granite Grizzlies through the challenges of life and school.
