Principal’s News – September 2016

Welcome back! We had an amazing start to our 2016-2017 school year. The sound of children’s voices in and around the school brings great joy.

Once again, Granite has cause to celebrate. It has been published in the Desert News and from the Utah State Office of Education that Granite has received top scores on the SAGE testing. Granite was ranked #1 in Science, #2 in Math, and #3 in Language Arts. Your hard work as parents, students, and teachers lead to a successful path of learning. Keep up the phenomenal work Grizzlies! We are proud of you!

If you have not finished your on-line registration, please do so as soon as possible. If you need assistance, please contact our main office at 801-826-8575.

As many of you may have noticed, we have construction happening along 3100 E. We anticipate construction will continue through November. Sandy City is going to repave 3100 E.   This will be a great improvement from the bumpy road we currently have. As construction continues the workers will be asked to pause during our drop off and pick up times. However, please be aware of the construction work and slow down.
