What is Book Blitz Junior?
Book Blitz Jr. (BBJ) is a fun, interactive competition open to 4th and 5th grade students. The competition is designed to encourage students to read a variety of books over the course of the school year. Students get to help create teams of 4-5 fellow students, who work together to read 12 selected book titles. These teams then compete in a “Jeopardy Style” competition to earn points by naming the correct book title and author related to the question. Teams compete at the school level, and the winning team will advance to the district competition where they compete against teams from other schools.
