Dear Granite Families,
We are so excited to be able to offer so many extra curricular opportunities for our students. We have Chess Club, Book Blitz Jr., and also this week we’ve started Makerspace and STEAM Squad.
Makerspace is available for all students 1-5 to go to the STEM room on Fridays during lunch recess to explore technology and engineering concepts with Ms. Gardner. Our students love this exploratory time and it’s so fun to see their creations each week. STEM squad is an opportunity for our 3rd through 5th graders after school on Fridays. We’re just starting the first 8 week session and we’ll do another session in spring.

PTA Reflections Competition 🎼🎨👯‍♀️🎬

It’s Reflections time again! Students have three weeks to create an entry. You can do one entry in every category, or just choose your favorite and enter one time. The class with the most entries will receive an Ice cream sundae party again.Everyone that enters will receive a prize which they will receive when they get out of class for a few minutes. The winning entries receive medals and trophies! We can’t wait to see what our granite grizzlies come up with. Your teachers will show a quick video introducing the theme and you can all start today! All entries are due Monday the 20th. See the attached flyer for more information.

SCC Meeting Oct. 13

Our next SCC Meeting is Oct. 13th. Our School Community Council meetings are open to the public. You can check out the agendas one week prior on our school website!
