Grizzly Growl: October 24, 2025

Dear Granite Families,
I hope you have a lovely fall break with a bonus day Monday! Our teachers will be engaging in professional learning for half the day.
Our faculty is in the midst a year-long book study of the book Engagement by Design (Fisher, Frey, et.al.). Monday, we are talking about clarity for engagement. We all love working toward an achievable goal. When students know what they’re learning, why it matters, and how to know when they’ve learned it, their engagement in learning increases. Monday will be the first in several upcoming faculty discussions on clarity in learning.
As always, thank you for supporting our wonderful school community. Please reach out anytime with questions or feedback.
Warmly,
Elcena Saline
