Approve Draft Minutes from last meeting: Motion Jenny Bradley, 2nd Stacie Zisakis

SCC Business

  • Review and vote on School Safety: Outdoor safety is great. We are doing drills regularly. School safety has been updated for the state (standard response protocol, almost everywhere in Utah now). We review and update our safety measures often. Teachers have everything on their lanyards. *SCC filled out the online questions as a whole group.
  • and Digital Safety plans Digital Safety report presented by Jamie Aardema. This covered what students learn, communication, how internet use is monitored and how the school supports internet safety. Did the SCC feel it has received enough information… SCC says yes to all the questions surrounding digital safety and implementation in our school.
  • Motion to approve the safety plan-Alli Boothe, 2nd Stacey Noble
  • Review current year’s LAND Trust plan, data, expenditures, and review if spending is on course or if amendments are necessary.
  • Amendment for the TSSP & Land trust was approved bt the district, uploading the amendment to the land trust website.

Principal Report-

  • Wellness Night- A big success! A lot of community groups came to support the night and they presented great information. Everyone loved it.
  • 2025 RISE Results ELA now available, math & science we had before. Cohorts of kids each year and growing. 3rd grade, looking into contributors to their scores. Regardless, Granite is above district and state averages.

PTA Report Monday before Fall break, PTA will do 1000 acts of kindness so kids can do them during the break. 1000 gets a movie day.
