US News Utah’s Top Ranked Elementary School Badge

Grizzly Growl: March 6, 2026

Dear Granite Families,
Our March Read-a-thon is officially underway, and we’re excited to celebrate a whole month of reading at our school! 📚 The Read-a-thon is a fun way to encourage students to spend time with great books while building a love of reading. Throughout the month, students will be tracking their minutes, and celebrating their progress together. Thank you for supporting reading at home and helping make this event such a special part of our school community. Happy reading!
As always, thank you for supporting our wonderful school community. Please reach out anytime with questions or feedback.
Warmly,
Elcena Saline

Boundary Hearing

As a reminder, Canyons School District is hosting a community meeting to provide families and employees opportunities to share feedback on proposed boundary changes and school consolidations.  Tuesday, March 10, 6 p.m. @ Granite Elementary,
At 6 p.m. there will be a short presentation, after which members of the public can provide feedback. Patrons who wish to speak in person will have two minutes to share remarks.
Detailed descriptions of the boundary proposals can be found on the District’s website

Healthy Sleep

Did you know that elementary age kids need between 9-12 hours of sleep each night? So many kids have a hard time with bedtimes and sleep. Please feel free to reach out to our school counselor or nurse if you’d like support with kids’ sleep.
