Student Smart Devices Policy Update |
Familes, Utah state law banning cell phones in schools is now in effect. Going forward, all smart watches and cell phones will be stored in backpacks during the school day. Students may wear smart watches until they hang up their backpack. Students may put them on again at the dismissal bell to ensure families can locate them when they leave campus.
This law and updated school policy is to foster student attention, wellbeing, privacy, and safety. Please reach out if you have any questions. There are only 174 school days in 26-27. That leaves 191 days for family time! Please plan travel around these long weekends:

4-Day weekend Sept. 25-28
4-Day weekend Oct. 15-18
3-Day weekend Oct. 24-26
5-Day weekend Nov. 25-29 Winter Break 16 Days: Dec. 21-Jan. 1 4-Day weekend Jan. 15-18
4-Day weekend Feb. 12-15
3-Day weekend Feb. 26-28
3-Day weekend Mar. 20-22 Spring Break 9 days: April 3-11 |
