Granite Families,
Our teachers are back to work Monday and are getting ready to kick off a new year!
Thank you to everyone who has completed online registration. You have been emailed your USER ID, which you will use to log in to Skyward Family Access to begin the registration process. Once logged in, simply follow the prompts. If you encounter problems, please contact our District Call Center at 801-826-5525.
When you complete registration, you’ll see a QR code that allows you to sign up for our PTA. Please sign up to show your support for our school and our incredible PTA volunteers.
Updated Bell Schedule
As you may be aware, in order to provide teachers with additional planning time, our bell schedule was adjusted to add 10 instructional minutes to the day Mon. – Thurs.
Please be aware of our start and end times:
Mondays – Thursdays, 8:55-3:45
Fridays: 8:55-1:55
Join Our Team
We have two open positions here at Granite. Please consider joining our team and making an impact in students’ lives and experiences.
- MTSS Behavior Assistant – 25 hours/week – This person supports our counselor and school psychologist by making connections with students, supporting implementation of student behavior plans, and helping students to solve problems and meet expectations.
- Playworks Instructional IT – 16 hours/week (11:45-3:45 Mon.-Thurs.) – Come be our Playworks teacher! Use a developed curriculum and lesson plans, to teach our students games, skills, and sportsmanship

PTA Information
Message from PTA President Bridget Smith
Dear families!
We are getting very excited for this next school year to see what we can accomplish with our PTA! We are in need of a President-Elect on the general board for the PTA. The duties of this position include coming to monthly PTA meetings throughout the year, helping out with behind the scenes administration and working side-by-side with me to learn the ropes so you can fill the President spot the following school year. We also have a goal to have every family represented in our membership this year! That means we want every parent or guardian to join the PTA! Joining does not commit you to anything other than staying up to date with what is going on. Absolutely no volunteer time is required to be a member! Our PTA serves EVERY student at our school. How amazing would it be for the families to all be united in our membership and support for the Granite Elementary PTA? When you join, your dues go 100% to our dues to the state and region. Joining the PTA is the easiest way to say “thank you” to this amazing community of volunteers who serve your students.
