Students will learn about different ways kids communicate (words, sign language, iPads, etc.) and learn how to approach and include peers with differences. Please reach out if you have any questions. We are so excited to highlight our students’ relationships and create more opportunities for inclusive communication and play.Parent Teacher Conference Sign-Ups – Families, it’s time to sign up for Parent Teacher Conferences taking place Wednesday and Thursday, February 28-29. Please sign up using Skyward Family Access between Monday Feb. 5 at 9:00am and close on Feb. 16 at 4:00pm.Kindergarten Enrollment – Please spread the word to families in your community that we are now enrolling kindergarteners for free full-day kindergarten for the 24-25 school year. If you have a future kindergartener, please call our office to learn about kindergarten enrollment and information about our program 801-826-8575. As a reminder, children need to be 5 on September 1 to enroll. Questions to Ask Your Students
- You had a SHELTER drill this week. What did you do? What is a shelter drill for? (Everything inside the building is normal. Teaching continues and students can move about within the building as usual. All students and staff who are outside come inside and we secure exterior doors. We would shelter in case of a natural disaster, exterior hazmat spill, or another event that requires instructions from outside authorities.
