Dear Granite Families,
I can’t believe we’re in the final stretch. This year has gone so quickly! We have lots of events in the next two weeks. We appreciate your continued support of our students and teachers until the end of the year.
This week we got to watch our 4th and 5th graders celebrate Utah and the United States, along with our armed forces in their Patriotic Program. This is always a moving and beautiful production and tribute to those who have served our country.
We had the opportunity today to celebrate Mrs. Anne Anderson and wish her well as she approaches retirement. She has served the Granite students and community for nearly 3 decades. We will be forever grateful for her contributions to our students’ education and wellbeing. Please send her your best wishes when you see her next.
School Lunch End of Year – Families, please help your students prepare for unexpected adjustments to school lunches in the last few days of the year. To reduce waste, some lunch items may be shifted to use food currently stored. Some changes next week are:
- Wed. 5/22 – Choice 1: Instead of just pancakes, we’ll have a variety of breakfast items for lunch. Choice 2 – no change, Choice 3 = Ravioli instead of Wowbutter.
- Fri. May 24 – Manager’s Special (may or may not be pizza – it’s a surprise)
Thank you for your support of Granite. Please reach out anytime with questions or concerns.
Warmly,
Elcena Saline
