Jordan PLT came and visited 5th grade on Friday, October 2nd. PLT is the school’s Peer Leadership Team. They came and taught the students about B.A.D, which stands for Bullying, Alcohol, Drugs. They did a skit to teach the students the five steps of resistance. First, ask a question. Second, name the problem. Third, name a consequence. Then, suggest an alternative. Lastly, leave the door open for friends to join you in a better activity voice. The 5th graders enjoyed singing, role playing, and making a storm as they learned about staying away from B.A,D. choices.
