SCC Business

  • SCC discuss elections, determine number of open seats; especially if SCC holds a spring election. IF SCC holds spring election, advertise open seats and how/when election is to happen, conduct spring elections.

We will move the elections to Fall so that we have more school information and the community can have more opportunities to participate.

  • Review current year’s LAND Trust plan, data and expenditures and review if on course or if amendments are necessary.

-$4,000 to spend by the end of the year: One of options is to give teachers/Boosters 1.5 sub days to start cleaning up classrooms and storage rooms.

-Land Trust is right on budget

-Back to school night- Friday before school starts most likely

-Motion to cancel the May meeting-Michelle Schmidt, Stacey Noble 2nd

-Next meeting will be September 14 (Everything that needs to happen will be done through email.)

-May meeting will be for the committee that is planning the 50 year anniversary celebrations.

Principal Report

  • Staffing Information 11 teachers next year, one kindergarten teacher, 2 per for each class
  • Kindergarten orientation -Orientation on friday the 17th
