Scores for the end of year RISE Testing was shared for Granite 3-5. Our scores were higher than the average of the Brighton Feeder System. Cena celebrated the accomplishments of the students. RI and Acadience test scores for May 2022 were also shared. All grades exceeded or were close to their goals.

  • Review current year’s LAND Trust/TSSP

To offset teacher learning of the Wonders program, we discussed support for math learning. More in class support for teachers for small groups in reading and math.

1/2 day subs are being provided for teachers to sub so they can plan and understand Wonders. Teachers can also choose to get paid for working 2 hours after school hours.

  • Update on class sizes, FTE, Playworks

No move-ins to upper grades. Some new students to first grade. Still have positions open for Extended Core paraprofessional aides and behavioral coach/Playworks teacher. Fund to pay for a Behavior/Playworks teacher was amended at the last meeting. To be voted on at the next CSD Board meeting.
