Safe Walking Routes

Safe walk route walking text description:

  1. Students living south of Little Cottonwood Road and west of 3100 East should walk on the closest side street avoiding Little Cottonwood Canyon Road because there are not sidewalks. Side streets are: Colemere, Georgia Way, Kelly Brook Dr. and Chylene Dr.
  2. Students living on Mt. Jordan Road should walk on the north side of Mt. Jordan Road and turn on 9800 S. heading east. Walk on the sidewalks on the north side of the street.
  3. All students living on the south side of 9800 South and west of 3100 East should walk on the south sidewalks of 9800 South and cross with the Safety Patrol at the south entry of the school grounds.
  4. All students living east of 3100 East and off of 9800 South should walk on the north side of 9800 South headed west and cross at the crosswalk on 3100 East.
  5. All students living in Fur Hollow area and south to 10000 South should walk on the east side of 3100 East, cross at the crosswalk on 3100 East and 9800 South and then cross with the Safety Patrol at the south entry to the school grounds.
  6. All students living in Granite Woods Lane should cross with the Safety Patrol at the east entry to the school.
  7. Students living north of Little Cottonwood Meadows area and west of 3100 East should walk on the west side of 3100 East to the school.
  8. Students living norht of Little Cottonwood Canyon Road should not walk to school due to a hazardous street crossing. A bus is provided for these students.
  9. Students that live on Mt. Jordan by Dimple Dell are asked to walk east on the north side sidewalk around to 3100 East, cross at the crosswalk on 3100 East and 9800 South and then cross with the Safety Patrol at the south entry to the school grounds.
  10. Students are NOT to be dropped off in the South parking lot. This parking lot will be closed during drop off and pick up times.
