Kindergarten students were very excited that we were able to go on a field trip recently! We went to the Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point. We were able to learn about fossils, animal skeletons, do some hands on science activities and explore all that the museum had to offer. A major highlight of the trip was learning about the Polar Bear and seeing a real Polar Bear skull. Kindergarteners also loved that they were able to build blocks all the way to the ceiling, climb a ropes course, explore an obstacle course, put on a puppet show, fly across the zipline, experience a wind tunnel with 58 mph wind, and make waterfalls by redirecting water in the water play exhibit. We also can’t forget the bus ride. That was so exciting that we could have ended the field trip then! Thanks to all the parents who volunteered to help kindergarten explore and create!
