The Sandy City Fire Department came to visit 2nd graders this month. Students learned about the history of firefighting. Did you know that firefighting teams used to have contests to see who got to fight the fire? The losing team just had to watch. Students also learned about the vehicles and tools that firefighters use every day. Thank Sandy City for teaching us.
