US News Utah’s Top Ranked Elementary School Badge

Grizzly Growl: September 27, 2024

Thank you for coming to conferences this week and taking the time to celebrate your student’s achievements and collaborate on their growth! It was great to see so many families at Books and Bagels supporting the book fair as well. Did you know that the book fair sales give our PTA Scholastic points that they redeem for books for our students and materials for teachers? Your participation makes a significant difference!

Art Volunteer Request
We are currently seeking a volunteer to assist in preparing materials for Ms. Carr’s art class. If you’re available, we would greatly appreciate help for 2 hours each Monday from 11:45 AM to 1:45 PM. Please comment below if you’d be willing to help. Thank you!

Reflections
The National PTA and Granite Elementary have a long-standing commitment to arts education. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life. Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-created theme.

The 2024-2025 theme is “ACCEPTING IMPERFECTIONS”

Entries must be submitted before October 22, 2024. All Reflections entries must be submitted using the Utah Reflections Online system. Submissions are submitted online at:   https://www.utahpta.org/ref If you have any questions, feel free to contact to Ruki Packer (801) 835-6795
