Approve Minutes- Julia Sorenson motioned to approve and Stacey Noble seconded.

SCC Business

Nominations were all unanimous in the affirmative.

• Set meeting dates and time- proposed dates 2nd Monday at 4:15pm
  • 9th, Oct. 14th, Nov. 11th, Dec. 9th, Jan. 13th, Feb. 10th, Mar. 10th, Apr. 14th, May 12th

            Stacey Noble motioned to approve minutes as on the agenda and Brittany Fenton seconds the motion.

• SCC Training- Please select one session to attend

Sept. 18, Oct. 3, Oct. 8 at the District Office. Everyone must attend one.

Principal Report

• Review last year LAND Trust plan, End of Year testing
  • RISE School Scores
    • ELA 69% proficient (+2%)
    • Math 75% proficient (-4%)
    • Science 80% proficient (+1%)
  • Reading Goals
    • goal 80% benchmark NWF-CLS = 97%!
    • 1st goal 85% growth on NWF-WWR = 71% typical or greater growth
    • 2nd goal 80% typical or greater growth = 77%
    • 3rd goal 80% typical or greater growth = 52%
    • 4th goal 85% proficient or advanced on RI = 84%
    • 5th goal 85% proficient or advanced on RI = 83%
    • 4th and 5th increase percent advanced by 5% = 18-46% increases. Average 39% increase
  • Math Goals
    • K-5 87% at or above benchmark on math composite
      • K = 86%
      • 1 = 78%
      • 2 = 67%
      • 3 = 86%
      • 4 = 83%
      • 5 = 87%
    • Review current year’s LAND Trust/TSSP

            Cana will hear in October exact numbers for each fund. May be able to give additional aide help to 2nd and 5th.

• Review PBIS plan

Plan has been approved by the district. Handout shows all the interventions and supports for PBIS.

Wellness Night is November 4th, 6-7:30. SCC will support.

STEAM night is January 27th, 6-7:30.

Back to School NIght- Before school starts or continues on the 2nd Tuesday of the school year.

PTA Report: Fundraiser goal: $26,000

Teachers reiterate the importance of the fundraiser daily.

Class Pictures–Every student receives a class picture for free.

Katie Dahle makes a motion to adjourn the meeting and Matt Box seconds the motion.
