The Character Trait for April is “Courage”.
Kid’s Definition: Standing up for what you know is right – even when you are afraid and others do not stand with you. It could also involve being willing to try new and difficult things!
Children who have Courage:
Admit when they are wrong
Make good choices when others do not
Are kind to those who are unkind
Ask for help when they need it
Persevere against challenges
This month Mrs. Ross will read “Little Tree” by Loren Long to grades K-1 and “After the Fall” by Dan Santat to grades 3-5.
