Get Ready for 24-25!
Granite Families,
We are so excited to welcome your students back to school Monday! We will have our annual Red Carpet event. All students will line up at their grade level doors, but will then parade through the front doors on the red carpet to cheers and music. Please plan to say goodbye when students line up at grade doors. Parents may not escort students into the building. I promise we’ll take good care of any reluctant students. You are welcome to line up on the curb of our front sidewalk and take pictures as your student enters the school.
Parking Lot Procedure Change!
| We have updated our parking lot procedures to eliminate cars driving across our main pedestrian crosswalk. Please watch the video below carefully in preparation for a safe first day. |
Updated Bell Schedule
As you may be aware, in order to provide teachers with additional planning time, our bell schedule was adjusted to add 10 instructional minutes to the day Mon. – Thurs.
Please be aware of our start and end times:
Mondays – Thursdays, 8:55-3:45
Fridays: 8:55-1:55

Join Our Team
We have two open positions here at Granite. Please consider joining our team and making an impact in students’ lives and experiences.
- MTSS Behavior Assistant – 25 hours/week – This person supports our counselor and school psychologist by making connections with students, supporting implementation of student behavior plans, and helping students to solve problems and meet expectations.
- Playworks Instructional IT – 16 hours/week (11:45-3:45 Mon.-Thurs.) – Come be our Playworks teacher! Use a developed curriculum and lesson plans, to teach our students games, skills, and sportsmanship
- EEC Paraeducator – 28 hours/week (2 positions) – Come join our incredible team of special education professionals in teaching our most unique students.

Membership goalsWe are off to a pretty good start for our membership enrollment but we still have a long way to go! Our goal is to have every parent, teacher and staff join the PTA this year. Drinks and Donuts for ParentsWe cannot wait to see you all on the first day of school! After you have dropped your kiddos off and watched them walk the red carpet into the front doors, please join us for a quick mix and mingle next to the playground on the NORTH-EAST side of the school. We will have drinks, donuts and lots of important information for this school year!
