Dear Granite Families,
As we head into our holiday break, we wish all of our students and families a joyful, restful time together. Thank you for the kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness you’ve shared with our teachers, office team, and amazing staff this season—it truly means so much. We are grateful for our school community and the care you show one another. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on January 5, 2026. Enjoy your holiday break!

Attendance Resolutions for the New Year

The start of a new year is a great time to reflect, reset, and create routines that help our children thrive. One meaningful New Year’s resolution families might consider is building simple, consistent systems at home that support regular school attendance.

Set a consistent bedtime and wake-up routine to help children feel rested and ready to learn.
Prepare the night before by laying out clothes, packing backpacks, and reviewing the next day’s plans.
Create a calm morning routine that allows time for breakfast and connection before heading to school.
Talk about the importance of showing up every day, helping children understand that attendance builds confidence, friendships, and learning.
Plan ahead for obstacles by having backup transportation or childcare plans when unexpected challenges arise.

Small changes can make a big difference. As we welcome the new year, thank you for partnering with us to help students start each day feeling prepared, supported, and excited to learn.

PTA Information

We have a spirit night at Classic Skating on January 22. It will be such a fun night for the kids to play and the adults to chat.
We are looking for people who are interested in being on the PTA board next year. It is a GREAT way to be involved at the school. Reach out to one of the current board members if you are interested.
