Dear Grizzly Families,Everyone at Granite was feeling the love this week! Thank you to our PTA for providing a cookie for every student, and our parent volunteers who organized activities for each class. Our 5th graders made some incredible Valentine’s boxes (check out our Instagram or Facebook page @granitecsd for pictures).I want to give a shout out to our incredible students who donated food for the Utah Food Bank. We had a massively successful food drive, and filled all 6 barrels, and still had piles of cans that don’t fit. Thank you for sharing kindness and love with others.Irregular Schedules Coming Up! – Please be aware, that on Thursday, March 2nd, school will end at 1:55. Twice a year, we have early release days on Thursdays in order for teachers to hold parent teacher conferences.Additionally, our Board of Education has determined that Monday, March 6th will be a remote learning day for students. Teachers will communicate their office hours and remote learning expectations to you.Questions to ask your students:
- Who is the funniest person at school? What makes them funny?
- Who are you most grateful for at school? Why?
- Tell me about your Valentine’s celebrations at school.
