Dear Granite Families,
Our March Read-a-Thon is underway! Each student was randomly assigned to a team – black bears, panda bears, or polar bears – and can count all minutes reading on their clock sheet. Students turn in the sheets on Fridays for points for their team, and cash for the read-a-thon store. The team that gets the most minutes at the end of the month gets a glow party! We love getting kids excited about books and reading!
Questions to Ask Your Students
- What team are you on for the read-a-thon? What are you excited to read this month? How can I help you meet your reading goal?
- Tell me about a career day presenter that you enjoyed? What did you learn from them?
- Tell me about a job you may like to have in the future? What do you like about the idea of that job?
