Loveland Living Planet Aquarium brought their outreach program to Granite. Developed specifically for 2nd grade, this outreach program creates an experience as students meet ambassador animals from various tropical rainforest habitats around the world. Students explored the roles each animal plays in their habitat by investigating the structure and function of the animal’s body and features. Second graders had a great time meeting these animals, learning about the Rainforest, and especially getting to see the animals up close. It was a great program.
