This year we have had many themes throughout the year, but one that has stuck has been “We are like the mountain.” We have made the decision to go to our happy place by planting ourselves firmly in this “new life.
Like the mountain, we have room for “many things” in our ever-changing environment. We are stable, though things continue to change. A mountain does not get bothered or knocked over by anything. We stay rooted and, yet, continue to grow. We’ve had a fabulous year and have successfully adapted to the many twists and turns that this year has presented. I am so proud of my students. They truly “rock” (like the mountain), and am very grateful for them.
