We can always find something to be thankful for, no matter what may be the burden of our wants, or the special subject of our petitions. – Albert Barnes
The window for submitting a change request for the learning option is Sunday, Nov. 1 through Sunday, Nov. 8. Learning option changes will take effect with the start of the trimester on Monday, Nov. 23. You can find more information in the link below.

After the window closes, we will begin the process to adjust class rosters to reflect the students returning in-person and those requesting online.
Since it seems to be the year of change, let’s make a few more, but this time some healthy, easy changes.
Life is all about choices, and positive choices will lead us to positive change and growth. Here are some simple food swaps to keep us on the path to health and positivity.
- Have oatmeal (not instant) instead of a bagel. Oatmeal is full of fiber and won’t spike, then drop your blood sugars the way a bagel would.
- Choose spinach above mixed greens. Though mixed greens are healthy, spinach packs more of the nutritional punch that we all need.
- Ditch the flavored yogurts and choose plain Greek yogurt. Your heart will thank you, as Greek yogurt contains hypertensive protection.
- Nuts (one handful) are protective against weight gain. Opt for nuts over crackers any day.
- Did you know an egg a day can improve your mood? The yolk contains choline which helps memory and mood. Choose an egg instead of sugary cereal.
- Keep smiling!
Please remember to send your student to school wearing a mask and put an extra one in their backpack. We seem to be handing out more disposal masks each week. We need your help to continue to keep our school safe.
Fridays are considered a continued learning day to review and/or practice content previously taught. The activities and assignments are expected to be completed and returned by Monday. Please use the time between Friday to Sunday to best meet your family’s needs to complete the assignments. It is important that our students continue to engage in learning for sustained growth and academic success.
