Students in second grade were sure in for a surprise when they walked into class at the beginning of April. Their chairs had quit and refused to be used. Students had to use the floor and sit on their desks to complete their work. Oh no! The chairs left a letter stating all of the reasons they quit. Students had to write apology letters and try to persuade the chairs to come back to work. The letters must have worked because the chairs were back to work the first day after spring break. Whew!
