In fourth grade we work really hard on learning to write 5-paragraph essays. Students learn to write a 5-paragraph essay with an introduction, 3 body paragraphs, and a conclusion in 3 main areas: narrative, opinion, and informative. This year the kiddos took to GoogleSites to make their writing come to life.
Fourth graders in Ms. Nicolich’s class made e-portfolios using GoogleSites to build a website where they can display and publish their writing! Once students have completed the writing process and have a finished product, they are ready to publish. Using GoogleSites, kids upload their writing to their website with a picture that accompanies their work and, of course, the date so writing pieces stay organized. Through the incorporation of e-portfolios, kids have learned to upload documents and pictures, become more proficient in their typing, and been able to add a personal flare to each and every essay!
