SCC Business
- STEAM night assignments- Jan. 25th – 6:30 -8:00p.m.
- Using 4 projects from a PTA grant – cookie bridge challenge, Sams Raft Challenge, Transport Challenge
- Also have another station of legos, an art project station, and spheros
- Have a digital/internet safety flyer at family night for families to take
- Food (Michelle) granola bars (200) and rice krispy treats (100) cups of water
- If we are in the yellow with covid status we will have to postpone
- Greeters at the door to monitor
Principal Report
- TSSP/Land Trust-review & budgets -Reviewed attached forms
- Discussion and planning for 2022-2023 TSSP/Land Trust goals
- SEL plan -moving away from second steps. At Granite we are still doing character ed with Ms. Stolfa, with monthly grade level meetings. We have a unique culture at Granite, we want to make sure we don’t lose that, no matter what plan is adapted for character ed
- Finalize School Safety Plan- action item
- Finalize Digital Citizenship Plan- action item (for digital/internet safety add QR codes, live links, or pictutes of apps on School website to make finding this information helpful
- Add handlers to all teachers emails and emails from Ronnie to lead parents to school website to access the resources we have available to them. Trying to think of all communication ways to reach parents.
Reviewed the School Safety Plan and the Digital/Internet Citizenship plans. Katie approved the plans, Laura confirmed the plans, all in favor

TSSA/Landtrust Goals: 1) 80% of students in Kindergarten-3rd grade will make at least typical progress according to Acadience Pathways to Progress. 80% of students in 4th and 5th grade will be at proficient or higher in Reading Inventory (RI) by the end of the year. 2) 84% of students are reaching benchmark according to Acadience math assessment. Our goal is to maintain and/or increase 1-2% proficiency. 3) Students will identify the qualities needed to have positive social interactions with peers and persevere through difficult tasks.
