Welcome

Approve Draft Minutes from last meeting- Motion Alli Booth, 2nd Stacie Zisakis

SCC Business

  • Review current year’s LAND Trust plan, data, expenditures
    • Expenses to date
    • Mid-year data report

-Kindergarten & 1st grade is on track to hit goals, 2nd-5th grade goal is not on track so teachers have now come up with some great ideas to improve scores. Note that the goals are lofty and for students ABOVE, not at or above. If it was at or above, we are doing really well K-5.

-Math is an area of strength at Granite. All grades are improving across the board.

-On Track with spending.

  • Discuss possible focuses for 26-27 TSSA & Land Trust Goals

Proposal to keep Kinder/1st grade goals the same and lower the 2-5 goals. Ms. Saline requests SCC feedback before presenting them to the BLT. SCC feels that at or above is more attainable. Math proposed to move it to 80% at or above to accommodate the unknown or a new curriculum.

-Increase the attendance goal to 65%.

Principal Report-

  • STEAM Night Report – Great turn out! People like the treats. There were great activities and a big selection.

PTA Report- Book fair help will be needed. Read-a-thon is going to be a whole school goal and looking for helpers.
