SCC Business

  • Meet new principal, Ms. Cena Saline- Ms. Saline came and introduced herself. She is currently a principle at Edgemont and Ronnie and her will be working over the next several months with the transition.
  • STEAM night- March 28th – Logic Games from Zisakis (Kelly), Clay (Chell/Richard), Legos (Stacey), VR’s (Matt) sheros (Katie), PTA (take home kits), Granolas, Water, fruit snacks (Michelle), Digitial Citizenship flyer (hopefully prepared)

 

Principal Report

  • TSSP/Land Trust-review & budgets-reviewed
  • Discussion and planning for 2022-2023 TSSP/Land Trust goals
  • Safe Walk Plans -discussed changes to sidewalk on the highway
  • Review Positive Behavior Plan -grade level meetings continuing with Ms. Stolfa

Learned that we only have 12 FTE teachers for next year.  Disconcerting since we sit at 14.5 right now

 

PTA Report – Starting junior achievement program/Jared Kiplinger will be leading this

TSSA/Landtrust Goals: 1) 80% of students in Kindergarten-3rd grade will make at least typical progress according to Acadience Pathways to Progress. 80% of students in 4th and 5th grade will be at proficient or higher in Reading Inventory (RI) by the end of the year. 2) 84% of students are reaching benchmark according to Acadience math assessment. Our goal is to maintain and/or increase 1-2% proficiency. 3) Students will identify the qualities needed to have positive social interactions with peers and persevere through difficult tasks.
