SCC Business

  • Review School Safety Report action items. Principal completes School
Safety report follow up report on CSD Dashboard.

Exterior doors assessed. Gated fence near cafeteria doors. Gate the kindergarten area and provide a fence on top of the small cement wall. Catwalks on north/south sides of school.

Schools on the School Board boundary study list have had all repairs halted until decisions are made.

Kindergarten is going to align their recesses with EEC next year to help provide more supervision. We will look for temporary or portable solutions to help with the students falling over the short cement wall.

Signage on all school grounds beginning Fall 2025–Community members may not be on exterior school grounds during school hours.

  • Assure that the current year’s LAND Trust funds and TSSA funds were spent according to current year’s plans. Determine if your current year’s plan made a difference in the area of your goals (discussion using data).

Virtual and in person votes for both funds were approved unanimously.

All funds were used according to the current year’s plans. Will end the year with a positive balance for both accounts with a minimal carry over for both accounts.

  • School SCC publicizes your year’s work and plans successes to the school community and Legislators.
  • Plan when fall nominations & possible elections will be held.

Principal Report

  • CSD Weather Guidelines
  • End of Year testing results & information

Each grade level percentages of proficiency were shown for both Reading Acadience accuracy and Math Acadience. SCC had a good discussion about numbers and reasons for lower scores in some grades. Mrs. Saline will be digging deep into the data and each grade level individually to help understand the data better and how we can use it to make improvements/changes in the future.
